Today, we drive along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, the former Roman capital of the area. Here, we view the ancient theater, the aqueduct and port, as well as the impressive excavations of the Crusaders’ city.

We continue to Megiddo, site of biblical Armageddon, whose 20 layers of civilization were featured in James Michener’s The Source.

Stop at Mount Carmel (Muhraka), where Elijah challenged the false prophets.

We will Visit Nazareth Village- A first-century farm and village presenting the life, times and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth for all the world.

Visit Jesus boyhood town of Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation, the traditional location of the angel Gabriel's appearance to Mary.

Drive by Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine at a wedding feast.

We continue to the Galilee to check into our Hotel and refresh before dinner together this evening.

We enjoy a drive through the Golan Heights, passing former Syrian bunkers on the way to the top of Har Bental for panoramic views stretching far into neighboring Syria. Our guide updates us on the geopolitical situation in the area.

Visit the Banias Spring in ancient Caesarea Philippi.

Next, we stop at the award-winning Golan winery for a tour and wine tasting.

Our final stop is at Kesem Hagolan to watch a spectacular multimedia presentation of the area and its history in the 180-degree IMAX movie theater.

We return to our Hotel for dinner this evening.

Visit the baptismal site of Yardenit, the site on the River Jordan and have the opportunity for a baptismal service, if so desired

We begin our day with a visit to Tagbha where Jesus fed the 5,000 with only five loaves of bread and two fish. Here, you will visit the Church of Multiplication and enjoy its remarkable fourth century Byzantine mosaic floor.

At Mount of Beatitudes, we see the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.

Here, we will sail on an old fishing boat, the type that would have been used by Jesus apostles.

You will have an opportunity for a lunch of St. Peter’s fish

Our next stop is at Capernaum, where Jesus began his ministry and site of numerous miracles. We see the ruins of several synagogues and the octagonal Church of St. Peter.

We ascend to Jerusalem and check into our hotel.

We begin our day with an ascent up the Mount of Olives for a magnificent panoramic view of the City of Gold.

Visit Pater Noster Church and Dominus Flevit.

Take the Palm Sunday Road and visit the Garden of Gethsemane.

We continue to Mt. Zion, where we visit the tomb of King David and then proceed to the Upper Room, believed to be the site of the Last Supper.

We walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Christian quarter.

Celebrate the Resurrection with prayer and Communion at the Garden Empty Tomb.

Overnight in Jerusalem/ Bethlehem

Explore the Old City of Jerusalem via the Dung Gate.

We visit Temple Mount where Solomon’s Temple and the Second Temple once stood. Today Temple Mount is home to the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque

Visit the Western Wall and surrounding Plaza in the Jewish quarter, including Robinson's Arch.

Go deep into Jerusalem’s biblical history with this tour of the City of David, a 3,800-year old site that’s outside the old city walls. Trace the story of Jerusalem through the ages as you explore archeological excavations. See the First Temple homes at the Royal Acropolis, and visit the Citadel that protected Gihon Spring, Jerusalem’s main water source. Take an adventurous walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel, then visit the Givati Excavation, where digging underneath a modern parking lot has revealed golden coins, a queen’s palace and Roman amphorae.

We continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square.

Early this morning, we depart for the Dead Sea basin.

Along the way, we stop at the Qumran caves, the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found by a local shepherd.

We ascend Masada by cable car to view the remains of King Herod’s fortress, including the synagogue, walls and bathhouses, as we learn about the Jewish Zealots’ last stand against the Roman forces.

We descend the mountain and head to the Kalia beach to enjoy the mineral-rich mud and an unsinkable swim in the healing, salty waters of the Dead Sea.
